Fun!

It's been an age since I've been to Bangalore. By which, of course, I mean its been nine months, give or take a few days. I have pined and pined for this city! For the book store that is Blossoms, and for the closest thing to a comic book store one can find in this country.
But also, the atmosphere in this place - with its amazing weather and the metro line and the people (the crazy mix of Kannadigas and Tamilians and North Indians). The language, that I know how to speak, thanks to my Kannada lineage. The gardens. The funny verandah railings that all look the same.
  (The awful traffic).
I love my relatives that live here - paternal aunts with the best sense of humour, idiot cousins with their idiot wit (I'm looking at you, Ashish). Then there's cousins of mother, one of whom we hang out with every time we visit, and is the best company, especially at malls. I await the time we can go to Sbarro's and pig out on the pizza and potatoes.
What pizza What garlic bread! What potatoes! (What cheese!)
This time however, our mission is to survive the various functions of my cousin's wedding - a whole jingbang of affairs. I've got a whole wardrobe of new outfits to debut, and dreams of food that need to be fulfilled.
Every day is colossal amounts of fun, and interestingly after months of argifying between my stomach and my brain, they're finally agreeing on something. This place is the fucking shizz.
The aunt we're staying with used to live next to a railway line, and I miss the sound of the trains going by (goal in life: live near a railway line), I have to concede that she is definitely better connected to the city now.
Tomorrow holds in store for me a great deal - mother and some aunt person will be eeshifying manjal (translation: I can't do this properly; Pinafore, help me out!) on my poor delicate face.
  Joy.
However, we're going to visit the aforementioned awesome aunt, which means train hopping and the possibility of a mall visit.
  Joy!
