She put the Charm in Charmstead

She was wearing black, as she always was. This time, it was a black sleeveless top with white pants, accompanied by her midnight blue coat. She was walking down the road, smiling to herself. She stopped right where Roddy was standing.
“Evening paper, Bill! Oh, and give me a copy of 'Art today', I've got to research for my next book,” She said spritely. She turned and gave Roddy a smile. “How goes work, Roddy? Heard that video game sales are going down? Looks like kids are starting to read books again, eh?”
“Don't know where you got that idea, they're doing pretty well,” He said.
“Hmmm,” She said, taking her paper and magazine. She waved goodbye to both of them with the hand that held the paper, just so Roddy could see the title of one of the articles on the front page, 'Books back in power?' and smirked as she walked away.
Roddy smiled - that woman was just something else, and he was irrevocably in love with her.
