Post #4: Christmas Hols

Yes, 'tis the weekend, and the laptop is where it should be (atop my lap, that is) after that incredibly long week of tests (I did fairly not bad, thank you for asking) during which it lay on the shelf, collecting dust. As I type this, I'm staring wistfully at the calendar, waiting for Tuesday, the last day of school for this year, after which everyday is Friday.
  I haven't yet figured out what the hell I'm going to do to occupy myself and be productive, but it will all be clear to me (and you) once I'm done typing this post out.
 So I intend to:

  • Watch three episodes of Free! every night, and then fangirl to Sara (who needs a nickname - the Pinafore suggested 'fatty', which I might actually use) at one in the morning;
  • Finish all the superhero comics that I've borrowed (Hopefully I can keep 'Final Crisis' over the hols?);
  • Conquer some hearts, because if you can't do this sort of thing at Christmas then when can you? (Got that crazy idea from 'Love, Actually', which I finally watched);
  • Fall in love with Freddie Mercury - all over again. The man's a Killer Queen, so Don't Stop Me Now;
  • Draw? Yes indeed, I shall. I shall also put some art up sometime. Y'all can then say, "Squeeee she's so awesome!";
  • Finish writing the rest of the 12POC. Good lord, I have eight more to go;
  • Rock this party, while listening to 20th century music, because that's the best kind.

  I know, it sounds so fun and action packed that you're probably crying your eyes out, wishing you were me. It's all right, I'll also have to spend time with my lot, so that's one thing you're not really missing out on. Oh yes, also, for the first time, I'm attending a Christian wedding, which means I get to wear a dress, and stockings and such things that will appall all conservatives in the family (there are actually only a few, I'm proud to say). They will look me up and down, and glare and say, "What are you wearing?" And I will say, "A dress, that's what."
  So yes, all in all very action packed, but absolutely no candy canes. Not one. Not a single minty, red and white edible cane. Godammit.

  (And thus, Another Post Bites the Dust)

  1. YES! You finally watched Love Actually! I am incredibly sorry for any feels I may have caused.
    Also, Queen are one of my favourite bands of all time, who needs Somebody To Love when you have Queen, ammirite?

    1. Indeed I did, and don't apologise for the feels - they were all good. Also, now look at Christmas as some sort of yolofest o.o
      Absolutely. You know the thing about us Queen fans? We Are The Champions.
